“Shrink or Expand” Paper Published

In collaboration with scientists from the University of Copenhagen, we published research resolving decades of conflicting observations about thylakoid membrane dynamics. The study revealed a sophisticated three-phase response pattern (shrinkage, expansion, and relaxation) during light exposure, demonstrating how plants achieve rapid photoprotection before engaging longer-term adaptive responses.
