Salek’s Two-Month Visit

PhD student Salek Sajib Ahmed from Paris-Saclay University began a two-month visit to our research group. His research focuses on how bioenergetic organelles control skotomorphogenesis, with particular interest in the link between plastid structure/function and development during seedling growth under soil and after emergence. This collaborative work builds on our previous findings about plastid translation restriction inducing dramatic changes in etioplast ultrastructure.
