NCN Award for Łucja Kowalewska

We have wonderful news! Łucja Kowalewska has received the National Science Centre Award in the field of life sciences! This is the most prestigious distinction for early-career researchers in Poland, granted for outstanding basic research projects. Our research on the relationship between membrane geometry and function, showing that spatial membrane organization actively regulates cellular life processes, has been recognized at the highest level. We are incredibly proud and happy about this achievement for Łucja and our entire group!
