GRANA Tool Paper Published in Plant Physiology

Our reference article describing the AI tool GRANA has been published in the Plant Physiology journal. The publication presents GRANA (Graphical Recognition and Analysis of Nanostructural Assemblies) – a user-friendly AI-enhanced software tool that recognizes grana on thylakoid network electron micrographs and generates a comprehensive set of their structural parameters. GRANA employs three artificial neural networks of different architectures combined in a one-click workflow. This work was developed in collaboration with researchers from the University of Warsaw Machine Learning Center. The software is freely available – check our Tools tab.
