Our new paper resulting from Radek’s Sonata NCN project was published, demonstrating that dark-chilling induces light-independent LHCII phosphorylation in runner bean. The research revealed a connection between photosynthetic complexes reorganization and dark-chilling-induced activation of the thioredoxin system, presenting a new perspective on mechanisms involving photosynthetic complexes operating in darkness.
