Łucja Kowalewska delivered an invited presentation at the “Alan Schoen 100th birth anniversary – Gyroid is Everywhere” international symposium at Kindai University in Osaka, Japan. The conference commemorated physicist Alan Hugh Schoen, discoverer of the gyroid minimal surface, bringing together researchers from mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and materials science to advance interdisciplinary collaboration in gyroid research.
